Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city intimation slip for Constable (GD) Recruitment Examination 2026. Candidates can check their exam city details from 19 April 2026 onwards through the official SSC website.
The Computer Based Examination for SSC GD Constable 2026 will be conducted from 27 April 2026 to 30 May 2026 across various examination centers in the country.
The admit card for the examination will be released approximately 2 to 3 days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official SSC website.
The recruitment is being conducted for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau.
Exam Pattern Details:
The Computer Based Examination will consist of 80 objective type questions carrying 2 marks each, totaling 160 marks. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.
The subjects included are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
The exam will be conducted in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
How To Download SSC GD Admit Card 2026:
Visit the official SSC website at https://ssc.gov.in.
Go to the Admit Card section under Quick Links.
Click on “Download E-Admit Card of Constable (GD) Examination 2026”.
Enter your Registration Number and Password.
Fill the Captcha Code and proceed.
Download and print your admit card for future reference.
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination center. Without the admit card, entry will not be allowed.
