The Patna High Court (PHC), Bihar has released the Final Result for the recruitment of Stenographer posts under Group C category for a total of 111 vacancies. Candidates who applied between 21 August 2025 and 19 September 2025 and appeared in the examination conducted on 22 December 2025 can now download their final result. The recruitment process includes written examination, skill test, interview, and document verification.

The recruitment required candidates to have passed Intermediate (12th) along with certification in English shorthand and typing, computer application knowledge, and required typing speeds. Selected candidates will be placed under Pay Level 4 with salary ranging from Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 along with applicable allowances as per rules.

The Patna High Court conducted the Stenographer recruitment process for 111 posts under Group C category. The application process started on 21 August 2025 and concluded on 19 September 2025, while the fee payment deadline was 21 September 2025. The examination was conducted on 22 December 2025. The age limit for candidates was between 18 to 37 years as on 01 January 2025, with relaxation applicable as per government rules.

The category-wise vacancy included 32 posts for UR, 6 for EWS, 15 for BC, 26 for EBC, 30 for SC, and 2 for ST including backlog vacancies. Candidates were required to have passed Intermediate (12th) from a recognised board along with certificates in English shorthand and typing, a minimum of six months computer course, and required typing speeds of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing.

The recruitment process consisted of multiple stages including written examination, skill test for shorthand and typing, followed by interview and document verification. Candidates who have successfully qualified all stages are included in the final result list released by the Patna High Court.

The selected candidates will receive salary under Pay Level-4 ranging from Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 along with other admissible allowances as per the Patna High Court Officers and Staff Rules, 2021.
